Cool Climate Chardonnay

We are believers in the potential for chardonnays from the northern Willamette valley. It took planting clones that worked in the Oregon climate(and not California) and winemakers who believed that Oregon Chardonnay could have a distinctive style and there are very good chardonnays being made along side the pinots.   We plan to plant two acres of chardonnay vines next year.  The vines have been ordered and we should see them in the ground in about 12 months time.
