2010 vintage notes: A long cold spring resulted in bud break occurring in the third week of April.  However,  warm summer temperatures never arrived with June temperatures 8-10 F below normal resulting in very low growth on the vines.  Veraison occurred in early September.  Three weeks of dry and fairly warm weather in October provided the opportunity for the grapes to reach maturity with fully developed flavors but lower sugar levels when compared to 2009.  Harvest was completed on October 20.

Release date:  March 2012 (anticipated)

2009 vintage notes:  Bud break was a couple of weeks later than normal.  A warm summer resulted in bloom in early June.   Careful canopy management during the summer months ensured steady fruit development.  Harvest was completed on September 23.  The overall quality was great with well developed flavors and a good acid-sugar balance.
