Our Grand Opening Weekend was a great success. Both the Grand Opening Weekend and the weekend after Thanksgiving saw huge crowds. I want to apologize to anyone who did not get the proper attention. Even with the extra help we were a little overwhelmed.
We really appreciate all the love. The week started with a great dinner catered by Chef Courtney Sproule of the din din Supper Club. The food was amazing and it was great to share it with several of the people who have helped make Saffron Fields succesful. The weather gods definitely cooperated for “Sunny Days at Saffron Fields” with some superb weather and several hundred of our dearest customers chose to visit us. We had a few quiet days in between before the Thanksgiving weekend which again saw us getting record crowds. It was the best reception we could have hoped to receive. The days since Thanksgiving weekend have been a little quieter. We received our first dusting of snow and its created some beautiful scenes in the vineyard and garden.
